Newsarama.com is a pop culture website dedicated to comics, television, movies, and games. The blogs posted on the website are written by the website’s editorial staff. Overall, the authors’ voice for each blog post is written as news article. Most of the bloggers are objective about what they are writing. In addition, each author is writing for a specific audience, for example I noticed was Albert Ching writing comic book related blog posts. Alternatively, the interactive features for Newsarama.com are videos posted under the “Video” category on the website. The purpose of the Newsarama.com blog is to report entertainment, but what makes Newsarama different from other blogs is they receive their information from inside sources. The website has friends and connections with major companies like CW, Warner Brothers, Marvel, and Dark Horse. One thing I like about the blog is people actually provide insightful comments. The authors do not give any opinions, but leaves it up to readers to make their own views. A few reader feedback responses are interesting and insightful.
