TV Watchers is an entertainment news blog for themorningcall.com. The authors for each blog post are reporters for TMC and online producers. Their writing style is first person and very opinionated, although I can agree with a few remarks the authors make. A specific example is the blog post about the new season of American Idol. The show is different because of the new judges and more contestants are passing through Hollywood. The judges even though the judges are truthful, they are sympathetic enough to let mediocre singers go to the next level of auditions. Essentially, the main purpose of this blog is informing people about what is happening on TV. I like that the blog is updated regularly and the website offers: a TV guide schedule, links to TV network websites, and additional links or articles for readers to look up. In its entirety, I believe the blog is decent since it is targeting a local audience, Allentown, Lehigh Valley, rather than a national audience.
